Launching Eques Inc. in 2004, our aim was to develop images with a concentration on vulnerable and endangered species. In December 2004, we attended the “International Aquarium Congress.” From a vendor’s perspective, we were interested in the theme of the conference: how to communicate conservation messages in a way that would extend beyond the visitor’s experience at the institution. We have since worked with institutions and conservation organizations in supporting this objective.

Eques Inc. is a member of VZACC, (Vendors for Zoos and Aquariums Committing to Conservation) a consortium of like-minded vendors who are committed to providing funding for field research and conservation through the allocation of small grants. Learn more about VZACC at: www.vzacc.org
