"Santa
Barbara Zoo is opening the third of only three exhibits in the
world featuring the endangered California Condor. It is a $7.5
million project including a fully remodeled 700 foot gift shop.
Of course, I left the exhibit t-shirts until the last minute
worrying about all the other details. Laura and her team were
able to get artwork to me within days, and t-shirts in less
than a week. They are absolutely beautiful! Eques made the entire
process quick and effortless. Thanks Eques!"

“It
is a pleasure to partner with Eques Inc. Their commitment to
quality, detail, and customer satisfaction is without
equal and they are passionate about animal, marine, and habitat
conservation. In addition to carrying a variety of
strong selling stock images, Woodland Park Zoo has developed
several custom designs with Eques. Superbly executed
and accurate artwork, prompt and efficient order fulfillment,
and exceptional customer service make doing
business with Eques a pleasure.”

WOODLAND PARK ZOO STORE, SEATTLE
“When l needed t-shirts for our new lion exhibit,
I ran into the usual obstacles that a small store runs into,
expensive art fees and high minimum quantities. Finding Eques
was like a dream come true. They are so easy to work with. I
was able to have a design representing our three baby lion cubs
with art that was flexible for any of my needs. Their communication
and customer service was excellent, and they worked within my
very tight timeline. The result was an amazing design that our
zookeepers felt captured the personalities of our cats dead
on. They put so much care into the design, and took so much
pride in it, that I felt as if they were part of our own zoo
staff!”

“So many vendors are just selling images created years
ago and rarely if ever bother to update . . . and you can forget
about requesting customization. We understand this as normal
in the industry. But your talent, and great service at
EQUES, has raised the bar considerably.”

AQUARIUM OF THE PACIFIC
“The coordination of aquarium related animals on prints,
note cards, and apparel makes Eques a vendor who can
cover many key guest demands. Our visitors require a high level
of style and quality that is both affordable and classic.
The creative staff at Eques offers Monterey Bay products that
are fun, scientific, and most importantly, a unique souvenir
of an enjoyable day at the Aquarium.”

"We're
a small institution, so we really enjoy working with some of
the less-corporate vendors that are available, such as Eques.
Eques provides us with amazing quality shirts and have one-of-a-kind
designs that our customers (and staff) really like. The animal
designs have the natural look and accuracy that we look for
when purchasing products for our shop. We may not order large
quantities, but they are always happy to receive our order and
make sure we get exactly what we need."

“Thank
you for your support in the California Academy of Sciences’
move from Golden Gate Park to downtown San Francisco. During
that hectic time, from design concept through product development,
you delivered on time while striving for excellence in rendering
images with movement and life. Your broad range of products
offers a unified and cohesive look to our museum shop. Your
genuine interest in specific museum venues is a delight - and
your flexible approach refreshing. The passion you have for
your ‘subjects’ is evident in the beautiful and
detailed body of work you are producing.”

“I recently took over the Puerto Rican Crested Toad
Species Survival Program and solicited the help of Eques, Inc.
to develop a new design for fundraising efforts. They were a
delight to work with, professional all the way, expedient,
and I absolutely love the finished products! I commend them
for putting their talents to good use by supporting
conservation efforts for a wide variety of species!”

“I want to express my appreciation for the beautiful
art work Eques has done for our 'Art of Deception' exhibit at
the Birch Aquarium at Scripps. I have worked with artists before
in pulling together exhibits, interpretive or educational materials,
and you are second to none in terms your ability to grasp what
we’re trying to achieve and
producing it in a timely fashion. What you can provide to institutions
is reason enough for them to become
clients, and your service, attitude and flexibility add icing
to the cake.”

“I LOVE dealing with Eques. Such a professional, prompt,
pleasant company. I can only wish that all my vendors
would be as helpful and easy to work with. All this, AND the
merchandise is AWESOME too.”

DALLAS WORLD AQUARIUM
"All of us at Project Dragonfly and the Cincinnati
Zoo are thrilled to partner with Eques, who will create much
of the defining artwork for our new NSF-funded project, Wild
Research. Our mission, which we are pursuing with a growing
consortium of AZA institutions, is to deepen public engagement
in science and conservation at zoos and aquariums.
Eques art will be used in exhibits and on a national web platform
designed to involve visitors directly in inquiry and conservation
action. We chose Eques because they combine extraordinary creative
talent with a profound commitment to wildlife conservation.
Samara (Spum) will be joining the project team in Kenya this
summer with our Earth Expeditions program. She will meet with
Maasai communities and world renowned conservationists. Samara
will be studying the connection between wildlife art and community-based
conservation. We'll be working with her as she puts what she
learns into practice to help engage people worldwide in the
creation of more sustainable human and ecological communities.
We couldn't be more delighted."
